Pam, Steve, Steph and families, please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your mom and grandmother. I am sure there was a wonderful reunion in heaven when she got to see your dad and her parents again. I am sorry that we will not be able to attend her funeral or visitation as we are out of town. Our love and prayers are with you all.

I was privileged to have her har as my teacher. I believe she was loved by everyone. She always looked so elegant.. I’ll never forgot her. Thank you to her children for loaning her to us for a while. Our school was Powhatan....I’m glad she lived a long life...she deserved it.

Dear Pam, I lived in Shadyside until I married. My favorite teach at Shadyside High was was Mr. Stephen Magyar. Your mom and dad came to all the proms and homecoming dances. After the first time I watched them dance, I dreamed of becoming a dancer just like your mother. She was so beautiful and gracefull wearing gorgeous gowns and danced like a professional dancer. I could have watched them the entire evening. She was so sweet and kind to all of us. So sorry for your loss. Your neighbor, Carol

Steve, Pam and Steph . . . so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She and your Dad were such iconic mainstays in Shadyside as educators to so many for so many years. Together, they helped to mold many solid citizens--both academically and athletically. Please accept our condolences. May she rest in peace.
