Zella, we are so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. Please know that you are in our prayers. We heard the news after the funeral or we would have been there.

Eddie will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved hearing him laugh and seeing all the surprises he would bring to work in his lunchbox that mom didn't know about. Zella I admire you for the way you have loved Eddie and taken such good care of him. You're a wonderful mother.

My deepest sympathies and prayers to the family. I only met Eddie a few times but he left an impression with me. He was a good guy.

Dear Aunt Zella, Even though I can't be with you at this time, please know my heart is with you. I hurt for you, as I know how much you loved Eddie, Gods little Angel. I love you very much and am here any time night or day you can call me.

This is a loss we will always regret. Eddie was such a joy, especially to his family. I remember the time a church member came to visit, he put his hat on Eddies head, Aunt Zella said he would get it dirty, but the church member said he can't hurt it, it needs cleaned anyway. When they started to leave they couldn't find his hat. Eddie was in bed asleep, so they woke him and asked what he did with the hat. Eddie said me clean, at that time Eddie went to the bathroom and the hat was soaking wet, Eddis said I wash hat. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. He gave us more joy and laughter than anyone can imagine, yes Eddie was a ball of love and certainly will be desperately missed. Eddie save room for us in heaven, we will see you again someday, with all my love and sadness I will say goodby.

So sorry for your loss. I have so many good memories of Eddie when he was younger. Cathy and I are in Florida and unable to attend calling hours. May God comfort you at this time of your loss. - Jeff Diddle
