I adored this man! Playing music with him leading song to song to song to song to song to song (you get the point) was so easy as he had such a gentle way of leading and encouraging all at the same time! My heartfelt condolences to the entire Williams family. I had the pleasure of teaching with Gary at BLHS for many years, and he was always quick with a smile and a friendly greeting. I also enjoyed teaching many of his children, and I know how very proud he was of them. He was truly a good man and will be sorely missed. I will remember all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Williams family... we are so sorry to hear of your dad/husband’s passing... I was blessed to have him for a teacher and our family was blessed to have him for a principal at West Point... but the biggest blessing was to be able to call him a friend... he always had time to talk and ask about other family members.. we can tell you how amazing he was because he was one of the best!! Heaven is rejoicing - but our earthly hearts are aching. Such fond childhood memories of Gary (and Patty) living with them in same house when Tim was born in Va! They were like family and we love all of you!

So many fond memories of Mr Williams. He was always so kind and caring while I was in school. I loved running into him at Tim Hortons and having a quick chat. He always gave me a reason to smile. So sorry for your loss.

Patty and family, I am so sorry about Gary’s passing. My family was shocked to hear about it and even though it saddens us we know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his Lord.
