Condolences for Cassandra Marling

I have so many great memories of Cassie Marling from our time spent together in the hand center at Wheeling Hospital where she was our fun receptionist and then because she couldn't bear to leave us she became our beloved volunteer! Cassie was our biggest cheerleader when talking to the patients -she was proud of the work we did and was the first person people met coming to hand therapy -she was very classy, always beautifully dressed with that pretty hair .Cassie was very interested in the world ,in different people and of course politics! We had many heated discussions at lunch ,lots of laughs and lots of honest life chats .I have so many little thoughtful gifts she gave me and I have saved all the thoughtful cards she sent me over the years in her beautiful hand writing. We have many stories about our time with Cassie -some of which just make us collapse with laughter and will never be forgotten -I am sad that I will never hear her say my name or impart her wisdom or ask me how I'm doing-she was truly unique and is very missed . Much sympathy to Nicole ,Becky ,her kids and grandkids whom she was so proud of -you are in my thoughts and prayers
